Strong Team Performance in Bielstein: Fourth Round of the 2025 ADAC MX Masters

Bielstein / Frankfurt am Main, July 2025 – At the fourth round of the 2025 ADAC MX Masters on the legendary woodland track in Bielstein, Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek delivered a strong overall performance. With four riders on the grid – Max Nagl, Scott Smulders, Alvin Östlund, and Fiona Hoppe – the team impressed at the season’s first hardpack race and collected valuable championship points.
Max Nagl Extends Championship Lead
Championship leader Max Nagl once again underlined his title ambitions. On the demanding 1,650-meter hardpack circuit in Bielstein, the experienced German secured podium finishes in all three races and claimed second overall for the weekend.
In the opening race, Nagl grabbed the holeshot on the short start straight and finished second, setting the tone for a successful weekend. Race two saw him bring home a solid third place despite limited overtaking opportunities on the narrow track. In the final moto, he engaged in an exciting battle with Marcel Stauffer and emerged victorious – taking the race win and important championship points. With this strong performance, Nagl retained the red plate and further extended his lead in the standings.
Scott Smulders impresses in Masters Class on 250cc Bike
Due to a calendar clash with the MXGP and the resulting cancellation of the ADAC MX Youngster Cup in Bielstein, rising talent Scott Smulders stepped up to compete in the premier ADAC MX Masters class aboard his 250cc Triumph.
The young Dutchman impressed right from qualifying, securing a direct spot in the main races – a remarkable feat on a physically demanding track with long uphill sections. In the motos, Smulders delivered a composed and consistent performance, once again demonstrating his steady progression throughout the season.
Fiona Hoppe scores Top 10 Results in the DMX Class I
n the DMX class, Fiona Hoppe represented Dörr Motorsport as one of the top contenders. Despite still dealing with the effects of a recent injury, the young German delivered a strong performance in a highly competitive international field. With two top-ten finishes, she showcased her continued development and laid a solid foundation for the upcoming round in Tensfeld.
Team Manager Niklas Raths delivers a positive summary
“Bielstein was an important weekend for our team – both from a sporting and technical standpoint. The intensive setup work for the hardpack paid off. Max was consistently strong, Scott delivered another impressive showing in the Masters class with the 250, Fiona scored two top-ten finishes, and Alvin integrated well into the team. All in all, it was a very successful weekend for Dörr Motorsport,” summarized team manager Niklas Raths.
German motocross veteran Max Nagl also reflected positively on the weekend:
“I think it was a great weekend where we were able to extend our championship lead by finishing second overall. We put a lot of effort into testing and preparing the Triumph for the hardpack surface, and the results reflect the fantastic work the whole team has done. A big thank you to Triumph and Dörr Motorsport for the outstanding support!”
Looking Ahead: Fifth Round in Tensfeld
The action continues this coming weekend as the fifth round of the ADAC MX Masters heads to Tensfeld in northern Germany. On the deep sand track, the team will face an entirely different challenge – but with momentum from Bielstein, Dörr Motorsport is well-prepared for the next chapter of the 2025 season.
