FIM SUPERSPORT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
The FIM Supersport World Championship has spanned three-decades and is widely acknowledged as an ideal platform for the development of emerging talent on the world stage. The championship has been opened up to a wider category of engines, beyond 600cc, under the ‘Next Generation’ balance of performance formula, which Triumph took a lead in helping to establish in British Supersport, before its adoption in the World Championship more recently. Triumph’s factory entry in the series is in partnership with the experienced PTR team, under the PTR Triumph guise, in a fiercely competitive championship that supports Triumph’s future racing ambitions.
In 2024 PTR Triumph is fielding British talent Tom Booth-Amos, alongside Czech racer Ondrej Vostatek, who enjoyed a number of positive outings as a wildcard with the squad towards the end of last season. Racing the Triumph Street Triple 675 RS with its unmissable PTR Triumph livery, the duo will be looking for strong results in the ever-competitive 12-round series, which travels from the iconic Phillip Island circuit in Australia, to a number of tracks all over Europe.
In addition, in 2024 John McPhee and Jorge Navarro will race aboard Triumph supported machinery with the WRP-RT Motorsport By SKM Triumph team.
